Hola.
Has escrito toda una declaración de valores.
Hay muchos con los que estoy bastante de acuerdo. En realidad coincido con casi todos. Pero hay dos o tres…mmmmmh:

1.- Eso de que los animales tienen derechos… en fin. Existe una Carta de Derechos Humanos firmada por un montón de naciones (desgraciadamente no todas, y desgraciadamente no se cumplen en todas las que sí firmaron). Pero no hay carta de derechos de los animales, creo. A un animal no puedes hacerle entender sus derechos ni tampoco puedes imponerle deberes. Y los Derechos-Deberes es un tándem inseparable, y si los animales no pueden cumplir unos, tampoco podrán tener otros. Eso sí, somos nosotros los que tenemos deberes hacia lo animales, y estoy del todo de acuerdo en que merecen nuestro respeto.

2.- Que haya un deporte en el que se dan de hostias hasta partirse las cejas y saltarse los dientes es una cosa muy bruta. Pero esas dos personas adultas han elegido libremente dedicarse a eso de forma profesional y ganarse la vida así. Son un poco borricos, pero no creo que tengamos que entrar a censurarlo como deporte.

3.- Que conste que soy ateo convencido e inconciliable con la Iglesia, ¿eh? Y como tú, me decanto por el método científico antes que explicaciones fantasiosas. Pero creo que pueden existir muchas formas de expresar o canalizar la espiritualidad. Yo personalmente no sé cómo lo hago, si es que lo hago. Desde luego con religiones, magia y metafísica NO. Ni siquiera sé si tengo espiritualidad de esa (supongo que en cierto modo sí). Pero las creencias religiosas pueden ser una forma válida de expresarla, siempre que no se llegue al extremismo, ni se trate de imponer a otros, ni sirva para alcanzar poder sobre otros o dominar. Aunque sean minoritarias, hay religiones amables y respetuosas. Algunas desapareciendo, en zonas ocultas de África y Latinoamérica.

No sé, es mi puta opinión.

Gracias por tu interesante puta opinión, amigo Xabi (otro de tus múltiples nombres). Es mejor discrepar, porque para poner: "cojonudo todo", mejor no poner nada.

En lo de los animalicos yo no miro tanto la terminología legal. Además yo no me refería en el post a lo que hay actualmente (en muchas culturas y sistemas jurídicos prácticamente se equiparan en derechos a los seres humanos, y en otras, sólo son considerados como alimento y propiedad para el uso y disfrute sin límitaciones). Hay opiniones para todos los gustos, pero lo que es innegable es que cuanto más se avanza en el estudio animal más se comprueba lo parecidos que somos todos (inteligencia, comunicación, organización social, emociones, transformación del entorno, asociaciones, etc, etc...), porque no hay que olvidar que nosotros somos animales, y que sólo nos diferenciamos en el grado, no en las cualidades (nosotros podemos tener un grado 7 en tal característica y un tigre tener un grado 3, pero eso es todo). Además, considero que cumplen su función ecológica mucho mejor que nosotros, y que tienen unas funciones y deberes planetarios que desempeñan y que deben ser tanto respetados como defendidos a nivel mundial. Lo que se está haciendo en muchas partes del globo es una vergüenza en pleno siglo XXI (en España mismo, somos tercermundistas en materia de animales de companía...). En fin..., que es necesario seguir insistiendo en el temita (llámalo respeto, llámalo derecho).
En cuanto al boxeo: ¿y si dos personas deciden libremente batirse en un duelo de navajazos en un ring, para el disfrute de miles de personas, que verán cómo uno de los dos acaba muerto o con gravísimas heridas?. Yo siempre he opinado que habría que poner restricciones y protecciones en todos los deportes de contacto para salvaguardar la integridad de los deportistas (si no, en vez de deporte es una salvajada primitiva, sin más). Nunca podré considerar deporte a algo que deja incosciente a una persona a base de golpes, o a una actividad en la que muchos de los que la practican acaban deformados y gilipollas a base de hostias en la cabeza. Eso, desde mi punto de vista, debiera estar superado por irracional y salvaje (al igual que las peleas ilegales, pero como el boxeo sigue moviendo tanta pasta...).
Y sobre la religión o las iglesias, no me refiero a las explicaciones filosóficas de la vida (que es lo que son en realidad algunas de las llamadas religiones orientales), ni a los estados alterados de consciencia, sentimientos de conexión con uno mismo y con todo lo demás, meditaciones, expresiones y captaciones de la belleza, etc... (yo también los tengo). Me refiero a esas instituciones nocivas que mueven tanta pasta, que adoctrinan desde bien pequeñitas a millones de personas sin capacidad de elegir, que están metidos en todos los berenjenales de la vida pública que los estados les dejan, y en nombre de las cuales se mata y se muere. Esas que frenan nuestro avance y sólo nos llevan a otra Edad Media... Abrazos fuertes!

Con esa puntualización de las religiones, en cuanto a instituciones super-poderosas, ahora sí coincido del todo.

En cuanto a lo del boxeo, creo que el punto medio aceptable estaría en el boxeo olímpico, donde los luchadores van con protecciones en la cara, y donde no se trata de machacar, sino de marcar golpes y sumar puntos.

Y otra cosa: ¿a qué te refieres con lo de mis "múltiples nombres"? No suelo usar muchos, creo que sólo tengo un par.
